MODELLING INTERACTION OF BIOMASS AND ECOSYSTEM RESOURCES UNDER CONDITIONS OF VARIABLE NEGATIVE IMPACT
Abstract
Research results are presented in terms of an extended dynamic model describing the interaction of biomass of an ecological system and its resources in a situation of variable external inputs. The model is based on the fact that an ecological system is able to accumulate resources necessary for its own existence in the space area of its localization. It has been shown that a random process of changing the level of negative impact generates changes in the density of biomass and resources of the system. In this context, two fundamentally different scenarios of the system behavior are possible. In the first case, the density of biomass and resources is maintained in the sustainable area for an indefinitely long period of time. In the second case, the parameters of the state fall outside of this area followed by degradation of the system.
